How to reach Resort
Kathgodam, situated about 33 kms from Sattal is the nearest station to the town. Well connected to Delhi via frequent trains, once commute from station to Sattal via buses or taxis that are easy to avail.
The Butterfly Museum of Sattal is yet another popular sightseeing in the place. This museum is situated in the premises of Sattal Methodist Ashram itself and was established by Federic Smetacek, who was also known as the ‘butterfly man’. This museum comprises 2500 species of butterflies and 1100 species of insects.
Subhash Dhara is a natural spring of fresh water that arises from the dense west oak forests of Sattal. Its crystal clear water along with its intriguing location attracts large number of tourists to the place.
