Gemünd is a village in the Eifel region of Germany. With over 4250 inhabitants it is the largest village in the municipality of Schleiden. It is also a well known Kneipp resort.

The Red House in Monschau , North Rhine-Westphalia , is a former tribal seat of the entrepreneurial family Scheibler and today as a museum accessible, in particular the bourgeois residential culture at the turn of the 18th to the 19th century presented. The large patrician house was probably built between 1752 and 1768 by the cloth maker Johann Heinrich Scheibler . Because of its facade color it is called Red House .
